Saints and Pilgrimage Around the Atlantic

February 20-22, 2004

The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at the College has teamed with CLAW in organizing this interdisciplinary event which will examine the cross-cultural nature of religious pilgrimages in the Atlantic World as well as the various cults of saints that developed.  Along with a plenary speaker, sessions will consist of panel discussions of the papers, which participants and audience members will read in advance.  If you are interested in attending, please check for updates on this website or call the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at 953-5687 for program updates and information about obtaining a set of conference papers.  All sessions will be held in Arnold Hall in the College of Charleston’s Yaschik/Arnold Jewish Studies Center.
