The Cougar Card is the official College of Charleston identification card. It is issued to all members of the campus community. The card is your connection to campus life and is used to access events, facilities and services.

Your first Cougar Card is free! To obtain, please be prepared to present one of the following current, government issued forms of photo identification:

• Driver’s License
• State issued ID card
• Passport
• Military ID

Please carry the Cougar Card whenever you are on campus to identify yourself as a member of the campus community.

Riding with CARTA

CARTA service, on all routes, is free for College of Charleston employees and students! Simply show your Cougar Card to the driver as you board the bus; a separate bus pass is no longer required. You must be a current employee or enrolled student to take advantage of the free service. Schedule information may be obtained at www.ridecarta.com. Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!
