NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED: One to a female, one to a male, dependent on funding

ELIGIBILITY: The Blue Chip Venture Company Awards at the College of Charleston are designated for students from South Carolina who are enrolled in entrepreneurial coursework. For BSBA students, this means the students will be Entrepreneurship Concentrators.

APPLICATIONS MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE TATE CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION: Completed application must be received by March 26, 2010 .  Please mail to:

AWARD CRITERIA: This Award is given for entrepreneurial activity and performance. The Award must be applied toward tuition during the Fall and Spring semesters for which the funds are given. During the Award period, the recipient must continue enrollment in entrepreneurship courses.

SELECTION PROCESS: Completed applications will be reviewed by a panel of Entrepreneurship faculty. Recipients of the Award are selected based on the strength of the application and the student’s past performance in entrepreneurship courses.

RENEWAL CRITERIA: These Awards are not renewable
