The Truth
The truth is, if you bring technological innovations
into your classroom in order to involve your students, you are not going to achieve learning any better
than if you don't incorporate technology. A good teacher can reach students effectively when drawing in
the dirt with a stick.
Your Discipline
Does your subject require active learning?
Do your students benefit from exposure to real world problems, scientific modeling,
feedback from peers and experts and global communities?
Your Resources
Do you and your students have access
to the Internet? Who will write your web site? What elements should you include
in a web site to stimulate thinking?
