Suenaka Aikido Club

Introduction
Aikido is considered a nonviolent form of self defense. Master Morihei Ueshiba created this martial art form after many years of training. Aikido is "a way of life through harmony with nature". The art of Aikido emphasizes understanding the principles of nature and making them a part of oneself. Training allows one to learn to control a situation, blend with attacks, and work with both the "jo" and the "bokken". Our style of Aikido is called Suenaka-Aa-Tetsugaku-Ho Aikido or Wadokai Aikido.
