A knife and cutting board. This is a participation class.
Fee
$92 includes the instruction and food.

Description
Healthy meals for the whole family on a budget. Everything from snacks, full meals, desserts, comfort foods, and yes, even a holiday feast. By the end of the course, you will have the skills and technique to create great healthy meals that are fun and easy for the whole family. Among the basics you will learn include knife skills, kitchen safety and sanitary practices, and nutrition. Previous cooking skill is not a requirement.
Instructor
Chef Carla Walker is a recent graduate of the Culinary Institute of Charleston. She developed a similar program at another state university that was very favorably received. She currently teaches the Kids College Culinary Camps at the Culinary Institute of Charleston.
