Volleyball Entry Information

| Team Captains' Meeting | Monday, September 14. Stop by the CRS office at #206 Silcox between noon and 5 p.m.
Bring your completed team entry form. Late entries are placed on a waiting list and risk not being entered into the league. |
| Not on a team? | Come to the Free Agent Roundup. All persons looking to join a team can meet in the Johnson Center Gym #110 at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 10. Come ready to play since others will be there for the Volleyball Net Night.
You can also stop by the CRS office during the sign-in period. CRS will attempt to help in forming a team with these free agents or try to get you placed on a team. |
| Entry/Forfeit Fee | The $25.00 fee is required at the time the team entry form is submitted. |
| Leagues | Women's, Men's, and Coed. Teams that play in either the men's or women's league may also enter the coed league if they choose. A coed team consists of 3 women and 3 men. Use a separate entry form for each league you enter. |
| Play Begins | Sunday, September 20. League schedules will be posted on the CRS website by Friday, September 18. It is your responsibility to secure a copy of the schedule. |
| Days of Preference | Games
are scheduled for Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays starting at 7:00 p.m. You may specifiy which days are best suited for your team. |
| Levels of Competition | CRS offers an "A" league for skilled players and a "B" league for those with an average skill level. In the event not enough teams enter either level of play, the two divisions are combined. |
| Forfeits | Forfeits are considered unacceptable behavior. One forfeit will cause your team to be dropped from the league. A $25.00 re-entry fee is required within 24 hours if you wish to continue play. Games begin at the scheduled time. There is no grace period! Your team must sign in and be ready to begin the game at the scheduled time. |
| Game Location | Johnson Center courts. |
| Rules | All games shall use the USVBA Rules. Games are played using a time limit. If questions arise with respect to a rule or interpretation, the CRS supervisor will make a final determination. |
Release
Participation in any Campus Recreation Services activity is completely voluntary. Individuals assume the risk for any harm or injuries caused as a result of their participation. Participants need to be aware of the possibilities of bodily injury and should understand that they are responsible for any and all costs that may stem from an injury or property damage incurred during participation.
