ABOUT THE SHOW Conversations with Joan is a community and public affairs talk show covering entertainment, politics, social issues and the arts. The show features local, state and national guests and includes a "Lowcountry Happenings" segment. Conversations with Joan originates from the beautiful campus of the College of Charleston and has been on-air since September 29, 1995. The show is hosted and produced by Joan Mack at Center for the Documentary at the College of Charleston. Mack says she wants to create informative, thought-provoking, and enriching radio programming. Conversations with Joan airs Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. on these South Carolina Public Radio stations:
