ABOUT JOAN MACK In 1979 she received a state and national award from the Federation of Press of Women for a special television series called "Teenage Pregnancy: A Dilemma." In 1994, Mack moderated "Contested Values: Tug of War in the School Yard," an hour-long national issues Forum produced by the College of Charleston. Joan also narrated the video, "Lead: The Hidden Danger" produced by the Charleston County Health Department. A Charleston, South Carolina native, Mack holds a bachelor of science degree from South Carolina State University. |
