Tim Klein

Equifax

Tim Klein is Vice President, Public Relations for Equifax, a global financial data and services firm based in Atlanta. He leads external and internal communications including media relations, executive communications and support, employee and business communications and community relations for the company which operates in the US and 14 other countries.

Klein previously was the Vice President of Public Relations for AT&T Wireless, overseeing all of the communication and public relations responsibilities for the company. Klein began his public relations career in 1981 at Georgia-Pacific Corp. He then joined BellSouth Corp's public relations department in 1985 and held various roles until becoming the Executive Director - Strategic Communications in 1998, working on the overall communications strategy for the $24 billion telecom company. He was named to his position with AT&T Wireless shortly after its creation in mid-2000 as Cingular Wireless.
