Advisory Council Members to Speak at the College of Charleston

Communication majors are invited to two important opportunities for face-to-face meetings with members of the Department of Communication Advisory Council.

The department's nationally prominent Advisory Council is sponsoring two roundtable discussions focused on careers in communication on Thursday, September 25.

The first session will focus on career choices in communication. This session will take place from 10:50 a.m.-12:05 p.m. on the second floor of 9 College Way. The roundtable panelists will include Steve Cody (Peppercom), Lisa Davis (AstraZeneca), Tim Klein (Equifax), Bill Heyman (Heyman Associates), and Dan Solomon (Virilion).

The second session will focus on getting and taking full advantage of internships in communication. This session will take place from 1:40-2:55 p.m., also on the second floor of 9 College Way. The roundtable panelists will include Keith Lindenberg (Deloitte), Keith Poston (AGL Resources), and Bill Hughes (CA).

In addition to the listed panelists, other council members will be available to meet individually and in small groups with students.
