For help on other aspects of the application process, refer to the "helpful hints" section on the Graduate School page or visit our own Frequently Asked Questions link. Admissions Criteria To enroll in graduate-level courses at the College of Charleston , students are admitted to one of four categories: regular, non-degree, provisional or transient. The requirements for regular admission into the master of arts in communication program are given below.
Applicants are expected to have earned at least 12 undergraduate hours in communication or a related discipline. Applicants who do not meet the requirements for regular admission may be admitted conditionally until the deficiencies are corrected. When a student is accepted conditionally, those steps allowing for conversion to regular status will be specified by the Department of Communication Graduate Committee.
