NEED TO FILL AN INTERNATIONAL POSITION?

The College of Charleston has a large, very strong International Business major that produces graduates ready for work with international companies. Ms. Linda Robinson at the College's Career Services Office can help you find candidates best qualified to fill your international business positions. You can contact her at 843.953.5692.

INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS

The primary contact for International Education is Mrs. Penny McKeever. You can visit her in Room 111 on the first floor of the Beatty Center.

The College of Charleston has stated that one of its goals is to globalize the curriculum, and students wishing to study abroad can choose from a wide variety of experiences. Options range from selecting an internationally-oriented minor to becoming a Global Scholar to declaring an International Business major. To see what you can do with a degree in International Business click here.

International Business students, as well as other business students, will take courses offered by the School of Languages, Cultures, and World Affairs. The School offers not only languages, but also international and intercultural studies.

Business students have several options for international study over the course of the year. Some are supported by Federal grants and offer scholarships to defray costs. Students can study in Brazil, Mexico, Austria, and China among other countries. Visit the Student Success Center on the first floor of the Beatty Center to pick up information on specific programs available at this time.

Also, the Center for International Education and Programs conducts study-abroad fairs often. They are like trade shows to advertise the wealth of programs available to all students. Until the next fair, you may drop by their office in College's Multi-cultural Center, located at 207 Calhoun Street, to get more information.
