For 120 years Greek Life has helped shape the lives of undergraduates at the College of Charleston.

Our Calendar of Events

Each year after Convocation, a new freshman class walks under the arch at Porter’s Lodge to sign “the book.” Each spring following Graduation, a new class walks back under the arch and out into the world. Written in Greek above the central arch are the words: “Know Thyself.” No group of undergraduates is more apt to live by these words than the scholars and leaders of Greek Life.

Greek Life at the College is designed to help you make the most of your time on campus. By joining a fraternity or sorority you will... Ensure your academic success by utilizing your chapter’s academic programs and by competing for Greek scholarships. Become a leader by serving in one of over 200 leadership positions in Greek Life alone Create life-long relationships. Give back to your community through service.
