Bilateral Agreements

The College of Charleston has bilateral exchange agreements with academic institutions around the world. These exchanges allow CofC students to study for a semester or an academic year at a partner institution while still paying their CofC tuition. With a few exceptions, exchange students pay room and board tothe host institution. Normally, all financial aid applies. Classes taken abroad must be pre-approved before departure to ensure that students will receive transfer credit upon successful completion of the program. Course availability varies from institution to institution. The minimum GPA requirement for participants is a 2.5. In some cases, a 3.0 GPA is required. Australia

Austria

The Bahamas

• » Gerace Research Center
  An agreement that in return for some use of the research center by College of Charleston faculty and students requires that College of Charleston fully fund a student from the Bahamas.

Germany

  College of Charleston students study in Tubingen for a semester or an academic year. Students may either enroll directly into university courses with German students or enroll in courses taught at the Center for German Studies as a Second Language. Academic disciplines include Medicine, Theology, Law, Philosophy, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Computer Science, Economics, Geology, History, Mathematics, Physics, Social Sciences, and of course German.
