Bilateral Agreements

The College of Charleston has bilateral exchange agreements with academic institutions around the world. These exchanges allow CofC students to study for a semester or an academic year at a partner institution while still paying their CofC tuition. With a few exceptions, exchange students pay room and board tothe host institution. Normally, all financial aid applies. Classes taken abroad must be pre-approved before departure to ensure that students will receive transfer credit upon successful completion of the program. Course availability varies from institution to institution. The minimum GPA requirement for participants is a 2.5. In some cases, a 3.0 GPA is required. Interested students can contact Dr. Mack in the CIE for further information.
