Coming Through Slaughter

Michael Ondaatje, author of The English Patient, brings to life the colorful Jazz Age in New Orleans in his book Coming Through Slaughter. This book recounts the story of Buddy Bolden, one of the great jazz trumpet players, who is portrayed in a combination of fact and fiction.
