The Great Gatsby

Directed by Jack Clayton in 1974, The Great Gatsby, starring Robert Redford, Mia Farrow, and Sam Waterston, is a drama based on the novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald with a screenplay by Francis Ford Coppola. Clayton's version is the winner of two 1975 Oscars (Best Costume Design and Best Music), three 1975 BAFTA Film Awards (Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, and Best Costume Design), the 1974 Best Cinematography Award given by the British Society of Cinematographers, and a 1975 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. The film runs 144 minutes and is rated PG.
