Round Midnight

In Round Midnight (1986) an aging, alcoholic African American saxophonist comes to Paris seeking an escape from his self-destructive existence. A devoted young French fan spurs him to one last burst of creative brilliance. The movie is in English and French with English subtitles and stars Dexter Gordon, Lonette Mckee, and Francois Cluzet. 132 minutes.
