The following awards were given at the 2006 Lowcountry Science and Engineering Fair Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, in Physicians Auditorium, Hollings Science Center, College of Charleston.

The students' schools are abbreviated as follows: AHA - Addlestone Hebrew Academy; AMHS - Academic Magnet High School; CEWMS - CE Williams Middle School; FBCS - First Baptist Church School; FJMS - Fort Johnson Middle School; GAT - Garrett Academy of Technology; LHS - Lincoln High School; PCA - Palmetto Christian Academy; PG - Porter-Gaud; WAHS - West Ashley High School; WHS - Wando High School.
