- Integrated Land Use-Coastal Ecosystem-Economic-Public Health Studies (funded by NOAA Center for Coastal Ocean Research through CCEHBR)
- SouthEast Coastal Ocean Observations Regional Association (SECOORA): Building a Regional Association Framework for the Coastal Ocean Observing System of the Southeastern United States (funded by NOAA IOOS Office)
- Expanding Existing Surveillance Systems to Include Pfeisteria, Other Harmful Algal Blooms, and Marine Toxins in South Carolina (funded by the Centers for Disease Control)
- Southeastern Center for Ocean Sciences Education Excellence: A Systemic Approach to Forming Ocean Science Education Partnerships (with Dr. Lundie Spence; funded by National Science Foundation and NOAA)
