From 44 entries from around the world, Vanessa Bezy won Best Poster at the 33rd International Sea Turtle Society Meeting in Baltimore Maryland in February 2013.
Leslie Wickes won top poster presenter honors at the Seventh Annual Graduate Student Research Poster Session for her poster “Growth and Distribution of Lophelia pertusa Under ‘Acidified’ Conditions in the Southern California Bight.”
Leah Fisher was awarded a Knauss Fellowship to work in NOAA’s Office of Global Climate Change.
Tim O'Donnell won the Best Oral Presentation Award at the 2012 Graduate Student Research Colloquium at the College of Charleston. Leah Fisher won second place.
