The department offers courses in both
traditional and newly developed areas of psychological investigation.
The department ’s program prepares undergraduate majors for
careers in the behavioral sciences and psychology-related fields, for
graduate programs in psychology and other professions, and for careers
in any field in which a liberal arts and sciences education is useful.
An understanding of human behavior is relevant to any occupation or
