Designed as a required lab component for the enrolled students of the First-year Seminar course, FYSM 146-001: Business Skill, Campus Leadership: Taking the Plunge, the Leadership Seminar allows these students an opportunity to apply concepts discussed in class.
These students meet once a week to learn more about themselves and their own leadership styles, develop leadership skills such as planning, communication, and budgeting, participate in specific leadership development activities and scenarios, meet other student leaders and administrators. Other topics can include models of leadership, FISH Philosophy, conflict management, diversity, and professional business etiquette.
All Leadership Seminar classes are held on Tuesdays from 12:15 – 1:15 p.m. in the Stern Student Center, Room 201.
