Photography is one of the fastest growing areas in the department. The courses have a decidedly fine art focus, emphasizing the mastery of techniques (including experimental) throughout the four levels of study. Students work with black and white materials and shoot with 35mm SLR or medium format cameras. While the facilities are small and class sizes are limited, the content is extensive. Students are encouraged to develop a strong personal vision while refining their technical skills.
