Susan Kattwinkel (B.A. - College
of William and Mary; M.A. - Emerson College; PhD - University of
Texas at Austin) is an Associate Professor and teaches the History
and Literature courses in the department. Her publications include
two edited volumes (Tony Pastor Presents: Afterpieces for the
Vaudeville Stage and Audience Participation: Essays on
Inclusion in Performance) and several journal articles, as
well as two volumes of Theatre Symposium: A Journal of the Southeastern
Theatre Conference. She also has directed in the mainstage
season, thus far directing Machinal, Vinegar Tom,
Waiting for Godot, and Metamorphoses. Susan has
produced two productions of The Vagina Monologues at the
College and directed the show in 2002 and 2005.
