Brent Laing (BA - College of Charleston; MA - UNC-Greensboro) is a Senior Instructor in the Theatre Department. His undergraduate degree is in Fine Arts with an emphasis on Theatre and his M.F.A. is in Acting and Directing. He has been teaching at The College since 1990. He teaches Introduction to Theatre, Acting I and Public Speaking (for the Communications Department).

Since Brent has been teaching here at The College he has appeared in three student directed productions, five Premiere Theatre productions, one Childrens Theatre production, and seven Shakespeare Project productions. He has acted in four community theatre productions. He has directed two student written plays in Theatre 220 and in Spring 2002 he directed Laundry and Bourbon in The Chapel Theatre.
