Theatre Scholarships


 

To apply for a scholarship, please go to the Department’s Administrative Office in room 217, Albert Simons Center for the Arts . Ms. Oleksiak, the Department’s Administrative Assistant, will provide you with the necessary forms. Or, download the scholarship audition brochure in pdf format here, and send in the requested information before the audition date. (The brochure requires Adobe Acrobat.)

Fine Arts Scholarship ($1000)
Awarded by audition to entering freshman (auditionsJanuary/February). Renewable for four years if student maintains a 3.0 average in major.

Emmett Robinson Scholarship ($500-1000)
Reviewed by application, then awarded by Theatre faculty vote. This non-renewable scholarship is given to a rising senior with a 3.0 GPA in theatre courses and a distinguished record of leadership in performance and/or production. Preference will be given to students excelling in both.

Theatre Artist Scholarship ($300)
Renewable if student maintains a 3.0 average in major. Available with tuition abatement.

Mary Jollensten Scholarship (Funds variable)
Awarded by application, then voted upon by theatre faculty. Non-renewable. Awarded to a junior or senior theatre major with financial need and an emphasis on scenography or costume design/technology.
