about the portico

Welcome to The Portico

The Portico is the employee newsletter of the College of Charleston. Like an architectural portico, such as the one that serves as an entrance to Randolph Hall, it is your entry, your access, to the College community. Inside you will find information about campus news, events and issues that affect you, as well as opportunities to get to know the other people who call the College “work.”

The Portico seeks to help all of us get to know each other a little better. It aims to foster a sense of community among us all by profiling employees, highlighting their achievements and providing information about campus news, events and issues.

The Portico features informative, revealing and fun elements of our campus community in every issue. It is your employee newsletter, and we hope that you enjoy being a part of it.

The Portico is published on a monthly basis (nine times a year)
by the Office of College Publications in the Division of Marketing and Communications
