The College’s 10-year strategic plan was approved by the Board of Trustees last month, passing one of the first of many major milestones in the strategic planning process. “The strategic plan outlines the growth and development needed to meet the challenges of the future,” says Sue Sommer-Kresse, senior vice president for strategic planning. “Hundreds of people – faculty, staff, students and others – helped to create it.” The plan is based on the following five major goals:
- Provide students a highly personalized education
- Develop and enhance nationally recognized undergraduate, graduate and professional programs that take advantage of the College’s location
- Provide students global and interdisciplinary perspectives
- Educate the whole person through a vibrant campus life
- Achieve financial security
