- All work on the Cato Center for the Arts was completed in October.
- Finishing touches to the flooring, painting and trim-work at the new science center were made last month. The building is on track for a completion date of November 13.
- In October, interior partitions were braced and door frames and interior windows were set in Craig Union, where the cafeteria is being converted to an admissions hub. In November, the courtyard hardscape will be installed and the above-ceiling work – including ductwork, sprinkler piping and electrical wiring – will be completed.
- Last month, temporary fencing and scaffolding was staged on the south and east sides of Randolph Hall, where window removal also began. As a safety precaution, the gate on the east side of the Cistern Yard will be closed as the exterior repairs to Randolph Hall, Towell Library and Porters Lodge continue.
- The expected completion date for the new nature trail, studio and barn at Dixie Plantation is now estimated for December 2010.
