Many employers are interested in students with an accounting degree. While employment opportunities are extremely varied for accounting students, there are two typical career paths: employment with a big four accounting firm or employment with a regional or local accounting firm. Additional careers in accounting can be found in every industry and many firms strongly value an accounting degree and the CPA designation for positions ranging from accountant or internal auditor, to brand manager, finance director, or controller.
