  • October 8 & 9: Dr. James Walvin (University of York, UK) author of The Trader, the Owner, the Slave
    Walvin will be discussing the notorious 1781 Zong massacre on October 8 at 7:00 pm, Arnold Hall, Jewish Studies Center, 96 Wentworth Street
    Walvin will present a discussion on 'Slavery and Public Memory' on October 9 at 3:15 pm, Addlestone Library, Room 227, 205 Calhoun Street (corner of Calhoun and Coming Streets)
