EARLE D. JENNINGS Jr. SAVANNAH - Earle DeWitt Jennings Jr., 63, a former chemist with Natrochem and a retired business manager with Memorial Medical Center, died Monday June 1, 1998 at his residence. The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday June 3 in First Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Fox and Weeks Funeral Home, was in Oldfield Church Cemetery in Ora, S.C.

Mr. Jennings was born in Charleston, a son of Earle D. Jennings and Alma Bizown Jennings. He was a graduate of the College of Charleston and was a Navy veteran. He was a former employee with Coastal Medical Lab. He was a member of The Chatham Club, the Savannah Yacht Club, the Plimsoll Club, American Chemical Society and The Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America and was a Red Cross volunteer. He was an active member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Jane Blakely Jennings; two sons, John D. Jennings of Savannah and William T. Jennings of Atlanta; and a sister, Jane J. King of Charleston.
