![]() | Clyde Metz will retire at the end of the spring semester 2006. He joined the Chemistry Department in 1982 and has taught and influenced the lives of countless students. He will use retirement to enjoy all the more his grandchildren. Prof. Metz received his B.S. from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. from Indiana Univeristy. Before joing the faculty of the College ofCharelston he was on the faculty at Indiana University Purdue University-Indianapolis. He taught Principles of Chemistry, Physical Chemsitry, and Molecular Modeling. He authored several textbooks. He will continue his reserach collaborations taht involve determining x-ray structures of crystals. |
