CHEMISTRY SEMINAR FINAL EXAM

STUDY GUIDE


The final exam is weighted so as to count 20% of your grade. If you have turned in all assignments on time and received full credit for them and have made up any absences you have guaranteed yourself at least 80 % of your grade and have a "B" in hand.

MATCHING. (20%)You need to be able to match each seminar speaker with the title of her/his talk and her/his home institution.

ESSAY. (80%) Using complete sentences and correct grammar answer the following questions in detail. Your answers should be 2-4 pages long for each.

1. If you had to pick any ONE speaker for whom you could work with on a project who would you pick and why? Explain why the chemistry involved is of interest to you.

2. How has this course expanded your thoughts about chemistry as both a science and as a possible career?
