An important part of our mission at ECDC is to facilitate and generate research that contributes to the knowledge base about how children learn and grow. As a highly visible program in our local area, we are called upon from time to time for interviews or comments on topics relevant to early education and child care. In January of 2008, the Post and Courier ran a two-day series on issues and challenges of finding high quality child care. ECDC was featured and Part 2 of this piece posted on the web includes a video interview (posted on Program & Visitor Info page under "Virtual Tours").
