Our group (Arch McCallum, Bill More, Davis Maves, Chip Biernbaum, Chris Abate, Hugh Haynsworth, Jim Deavor, Bernard Powers, Phillip Powell, Marcie Desrochers) very quickly came up with the following rough definition of a liberally educated person.
We thought that a liberally educated person was someone with the skills of logical inquiry; the intellectual courage and confidence to question; and the ability to articulate ideas to others.
