Profile
Julia Eichelberger received her Ph.D. in English from the University of North Carolina and began teaching at the College in 1992. She teaches a variety of courses in American literature, as well as first-year writing. Since the turn of the century she has done much of her scholarly work on Eudora Welty, and is currently studying the discourse of gardening in Welty’s unpublished letters.
