Vicki Balfour '02

Vicki (third from the left) recently completed a M.S. Degree in Forestry and Conservation from the University of Montana. Her thesis dealt with the role of vegetative ash in sealing the forest floor in certain types of bedrock. Part of her research required six controlled burns in the Lubrecht Experimental Forest, Montana.
