The 2008 ExCEL Awards: Photos of the Event

It honors students, faculty, staff, and neighborhood groups/agencies/companies and/or individuals for their continuing work of excellence
This excellence is displayed in teaching, athleticism, student learning/leadership, departmental progress, and in being good neighbors.
This excellence spreads the benefits of diversity and enhancing multiculturalism on our campus, in the community, and in their everyday lives.
The event was held Wednesday, March 26, 2008 4 pm.
Tickets were $5 students, $10 staff and faculty, $15 general admission
Proceeds go toward need-based scholarships for students

The College of Charleston recognizes the following 30 people for excellence in spreading the benefits of diversity and enhancing multiculturalism on campus, in the community and in their everyday lives. The 2008 awards program had a record 69 nominations representing all six academic schools.
