The Office of Accountability, Accreditation, Planning & Assessment (AAPA) is here to assist all constituencies at the College of Charleston who are interested in receiving guidance on any aspect of the survey process.  AAPA will help departments design and execute surveys, and analyze the data secured from these surveys. 

Our services include:

  • Question construction
  • Administration techniques
  • Implementation
  • Analysis and reporting
  • Use of mail, web, or scan-able paper survey methods
  • Coordination of internal and external campus-wide surveys (see Survey Guidelines below)

Karin Roof, Ph.D. serves as the Director of Survey Research for the College. She holds a doctorate in Sociology from the University of South Carolina and has an extensive background in research methodology and statistics.
