Every year the College of Charleston introduces over 2000 incoming freshman and transfer students to the campus. New Student Programs would like to welcome you to the College of Charleston legacy, a family tradition since 1770. We strive to make your adjustment to student life is successful. Now that you are officially admitted, the College of Charleston invites you to participate in the New Student Orientation "Bridge to the Future"!

Orientation is a two-day program designed to help new students make a smooth transition to the College. All new students are expected to participate in orientation before classes begin. Check in for orientation occurs in the Cougar Mall. Additional information will be included in the informational booklet.

During orientation, students will have the chance to:

• meet other incoming students
• meet an academic advisor
  
• register for classes
• meet faculty from various programs om campus
  
• learn about the campus and the services that are offered
