Each student's schedule will be different and is determined by necessary meetings, advising appointments, etc. Students receive their personalized schedules at orientation check-in.

There is one general schedule that participants receive at family orientation check-in. Family members may choose from any of the activities listed on their schedule. Please note that some activities listed on the student schedule, such as advising and registration, are for students only due to space limitations.

Individual schedules for the students and families will be given out during check on the first day of each orientation session.

Orientation is a two-day program designed to help new students make a smooth transition to the College. All new students are expected to participate in orientation before classes begin.

The first day of orientation begins with check in between 7:30-8:15 am in the Cougar Mall. Cougar Mall is located between Maybank Hall and the Robert Scott Small building with the entrance on Calhoun Street. Orientation interns will be available on campus to give you directions to check in.

The second day of orientation begins between 7:30 and 8:30 am depending on the student's personalized schedule they receive on the first day. Students and families should plan for orientation activities to end between 4:00 pm-5:00 pm depending on the student's individualized schedules.

Please note these session times and room locations may change before the orientation. Students and families will receive a schedule during check in with the latest information.
