LARRY KRASNOFF is originally from Philadelphia, and he has been teaching at the College since 1998-99. He has a B.A. in history and mathematics from Williams College, and a Ph.D. in philosophy from Johns Hopkins University. His main interests are in moral and political philosophy and in the history of philosophy; he is especially interested in Kant and Kant's relation to contemporary liberal political theory. He is also Associate Director of the Jewish Studies program.
