Biomedical Optics Research Linda has had many student researchers working in her lab (105 RHSC), both during the school year and the summer in paid research positions. They investigate the details of the interactions of light with tissue and therapeutic drugs that are activated by light. Her research equipment includes a UV/Vis spectrometer, luminescence spectrometer, and a UV/Vis/NIR reflectance/transmittance integrating sphere spectrometer. ![]() Above is the summer 2009 research group at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.
