The Blitz Build is actually a two week long event, with dozens of undergraduate and graduate groups participating to build a house for a needy family, from start to finish, in fourteen days.  Needless to say, it's a pretty arduous task, but with our invaluable help, it'll be a piece of cake.

 

All of the participating groups have signed up for various building shifts throughout the time period.  The MPA Student Association is registered for two of the time slots, listed below:

 

 

A bus will pick us up and drop us off at the Lightsey Center (on Calhoun Street) at the times listed above, so you don't have to worry about transportation to the site.  Be sure to dress appropriately (even if we're not painting, your clothes will probably get dirty).

If you can't make either time slot, but still want to help out, e-mail me.  They are looking for more volunteers (especially on the weekdays), and I can sign you up as an individual.
