Religious Studies at the College of Charleston


 

Declaring a Major, Double Major, or Minor in Religious Studies

 

Major

To declare your Religious Studies Major, print and complete the Declaration of Major (or Double Major) Form and the Entrance Survey below. You will then need to schedule an interview with the department chair, at that time you will be assigned an advisor who will help you develop a course of study that focus on the area of Religion that most interest you.

The Requirements for the Major in Religious Studies are 33 hours, or eleven courses

 

Minor

To declare a Minor in Religious Studies, print and complete the Declaration of Minor Form below. You will then need to meet with your advisor of your declared Major sign off on the form. Your declaration of minor form should then be turned into the Religious Studies administrative office.

Requirements

The minor in Religious Studies requires a minimum of 18 semester hours. At least nine hours in the minor at the 200 level or above must be earned at the College of Charleston.
