Membership Information

Membership of the South Carolina Society consists of residents in the state of South Carolina who are members in good standing of the Archaeological Institute of America.  Members of the Society who reside outside of this area may hold membership in the South Carolina Society providing they remain members in good standing of the Archaeological Institute of America.

Members contribute significantly to the overall goals of the AIA.  Member dues are used to support local lecture series and activities, and the overall goal of the organization - to promote the study and preservation of archaeological remains found throughout the world.  Benefits of membership are numerous and are listed on the national society's webpage.
