The Tate Center for Entrepreneurship’s mission is to positively enhance the entrepreneurial and educational opportunities in our region and state through education, innovation, research and advocacy.

The Tate Center is the first entrepreneurship center established in South Carolina. An integral part of the School of Business & Economics, the Tate Center serves as a bridge between the School and the business community.

Sep 10 - Green Business Networking Event
Come out 5:30 - 7:30 pm and meet like-minded representatives from local businesses and organizations plus CofC students, alumni, staff and faculty. As always, we’d appreciate an RSVP, but it is not required. Send RSVPs to David Hansen.

Sep 17 - Entrepreneurship for Creatives
Entrepreneurs and the creative businesses they create is the focus of this professional development program, it is specifically designed for artists, performers, designers, and other creative entrepreneurs who want to develop better business skills.
Opening Session:
Thursday, September 17th at 5:30PM in Beatty Room 220

Course regularly scheduled for Tuesday evenings at 5:30PM, Sept. 22, 2009 - Nov. 17, 2009 Tate Room 202
